Women's Basketball routs Hampshire

Auburn, ME - And out-matched Hampshire College team ran into a buzz saw, as CM cruised to a 93-16 rout.

In just 11-minutes of play, Natalie Thurber (Wells, ME) led CM with 17 points, 5 steals, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists.  Brianna Mulherin (Wales, ME) tallied 14 points and pulled down a team-high 7 rebounds.  Jane Lester (Bundaberg, Australia) was the 3rd Mustang in double-figures scoring 10 points in 12-minutes of action.

CM was without the services of Kristina Blais (Lewiston, ME) because of a schedule day off, and Jordyn Reynolds (Poland, ME) because of sickness.  Returning USCAA All-American, Brooke Reynolds (Poland, ME) only played 13-minutes in the first half collecting 5 steals, resting during 2nd half play.  All 13 Lady Mustangs who suited up played double-digit minutes, with no one playing over 20.

Cori Cannavino led the Black Sheep with 12 points and 11 rebounds.

With the win CM improves to 5-1 on the year, and 3-0 in the Yankee Conference.  They will be back in action tomorrow when they travel to Warwick, RI to take on the Knights of CCRI.
