Women's Basketball dominant in win over Hampshire

Auburn, ME - Resting key players, shaking up and the starting line-up, and hockey-like substitions, did not slow down the Lady Mustang son Saturday, as they toppled Hampshire 88-10.  Without pressing, or playing up-tempo, CM scored the first 49 points of the game and coasted from there.

Jane Lester scored a career-high 23 points, all in the first half, to pace the Lady Mustangs. Lester also pulled down a game-high 8 rebounds.  Jordyn Reynolds scored 13 points and pulled down 7 rebounds, while Natalie Thurber hit for 10 points.  Ellie Harrington played a solid floor game for CM finishing with 5 points, 6 assists, and 6 steals.

Overall the Mustangs forced 46 turnovers while holding a +23 rebounding edge and dishing out 25 assists.

With the win CM improves to 11-1 overall and 7-0 in the Yankee Conference.  They will be back in action next weekend, when they host Paul Smith's College (NY) on Saturday and travel to Randolph, VT on Sunday to take on Vermont Tech.
