Women's Basketball tops USCAA National Coaches Poll, Men 6th

Norfolk, VA - The United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) released their first national coaches poll of the season yesterday, and both CM basketball teams were represented in the top 10 of the Division 2 ballot. 

Men's Basketball sits at 7-1 overall, with their only loss coming on a buzzer-beater in double overtime to the Knights of Vermont Tech (ranked 5th overall). Since the loss on early-November, the Mustangs have won 3 straight games, including a win over 10th ranked NHTI. They travel to Albany College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences and Hampshire College for a weekend road double-header. The Mustangs will return to the friendly confines of Kirk Hall on Saturday, December 8th when they host the Bobcats of Paul Smith's College (NY).

The Lady Mustangs also sit at 7-1 overall. Their only loss came in their last game, a 70-61 defeat to UMaine Fort Kent who sits at 3rd overall in the USCAA Division 1 coaches poll. CM is averaging nearly 84 points per game and sit at a perfect 4-0 in the Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC). They will also be traveling to Albany College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences and Hampshire College for a weekend road double-header. The Lady Mustangs will return to Kirk Hall on Wednesday, December 5th when they host the Fighting Saints of the College of St. Joseph's (VT).
