Lady Mustangs recognized at USCAA All-American Awards Dinner

Uniontown, PA - Last night the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) hosted their annual All-American Awards Dinner at the Seven Springs Mountain Resort. As usual, several women's basketball players were recognized by the association. 

Kristen Huntress (Harrison, ME) and Alex Bessey (Jay, ME) were both recognized as earning Academic All-American honors. both young woman earned at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA.

Bessey was also named an All-American Honorable Mention selection.

Jordyn Reynolds (Poland, ME) was named a USCAA 2nd Team All-American. Reynolds has verbally committed to Converse College, an NCAA DII school in Spartanburg, PA, on an basketball scholarship.

Brooke Reynolds (Poland, ME) was recognized as a USCAA 1st Team All-American. Brooke becomes only the 3rd Lady Mustang to earn 1st Team All-American three times in a career.

The Lady Mustangs have their final practice on Sunday morning, before playing in the USCAA DII National Tournament Monday afternoon at 2:00pm. They will take on the winner of #7 Davis College (NY) and #10 UMaine-Machias.
