Mustangs bag Herons

Auburn, ME - Playing with only half of their roster, five players hit double-figures for CM to lead them to a 89-18 victory over Great Bay Community College. The Mustangs led 22-5 after the 1st quarter and 48-9 at halftime.

Leading the way was first year guard, Eliza Brault (Ossipee, NH) who tallied a triple-double with 18 points, 11 steals, and 10 rebounds. Kylee Joyce (Columbia, ME) notched her first double-double recording career highs in points (17) and rebounds (13). Tatianna Saint-Louis (Riviera Beach, FL) scored 16 points, while Shemilia Johnson (Newport News, VA) and India Morrell (UK) scored 15 and 12 points respectively. 

Madison Lovely led the Herons with 7 points and 10 rebounds.

With the win CM improves to 7-1 overall and 5-1 in the Yankee Small College Conference. They will be back in action on Wednesday (6:00pm) when they head to Portsmouth, NH to again take on the Herons of GBCC.
