Balance effort leads Mustangs to easy road win

Unity, ME - Fourteen players suited up for CM on Tuesday night, and thirteen of them found the scoring column in a complete team-win over Unity, 101-37. The Mustangs blistering pace and swarming defense was too much for the Rams, overwhelming them to the tune of 38 turnovers. Each Mustang played at least 10-minutes in the game, while no one played more than 17-minutes.

Eleven different Mustangs scored at least 6 points in the contest, led by Alyssa Everett (Norridgewock, ME) with 13. Eliza Brault (Ossipee, NH) racked up 12 points, 6 rebounds, 4 steals, and 3 assists, while Lexus Lee (Pompano Beach, FL) and Tatianna Saint-Louis (Riviera Beach, FL) eached netted 10. Kristen Huntress (Harrison, ME) and Saint-Louis each collected a team-high 7 rebounds a piece, while Huntress also contributed 8 points and 5 steals.

Marissa Sweeney led the Rams with 12 points and a game-high 8 rebounds. 

The Mustangs collected 20 offensive rebounds while out-rebounding Unity by +18. They also dished out 25 assists and sniped 26 steals.

With the win CM improves to 18-2 overall and 11-1 in the Yankee Conference. They are back in action this Saturday when they travel to Concord, NH to take on the Lynx of NHTI (12:00pm).
