Lady Mustangs tag Moose

Auburn, ME - After a dreadfully slow start, CM finally found their footing in the second half racing away from UMA for the 70-48 victory. Saddled with foul trouble and cold shooting, the Mustangs turned to their deep bench which ended up out-scoring the UMA bench 31-6.

Leading the way once again was first-year standout Eliza Brault (Ossipee, NH). Brault scored a game-high 16 points and tacked on 7 steals and 4 rebounds. Natalie Thurber (Wells, ME) was the only other starter in double-figures, hitting for 15 points and dishing out a game-high 5 assists.

Kasie Maloney (Concord, NH) was extremely efficient off the bench, shooting 6 for 7 from the floor to finish with 13 points. Chandler True (Naples, ME) hit 3 triples for 9 points, and also collected 5 steals and 4 rebounds. Tatianna Saint-Louis collected a game-high 9 rebounds to go along with 4 points.

Hope Butler and Sydney Leblanc led the Moose with 13 points a piece.

With the win the Lady Mustangs improve to 20-2 overall and 13-1 in the Yankee Conference. They will take on USCAA D1 foe, UMaine Fort Kent on Saturday at 1:00pm.
