Coach Swart has played, coached and been around the game of basketball for close to 50 years.  He has coached at all levels for both girls and boys, from recreation teams through high school.  Prior to coming to CMCC he was the head coach at the Lewiston Middle School and then served as an assistant coach at Lewiston High School for the boy's varsity basketball team.

Coach Swart is a native New Yorker but a Lewiston resident since 2000 where he lives with his wife Laurie and their two daughters, Jaime and Amanda.
