Women's Soccer lands Lewiston goalie

Auburn, ME - Head Women's Soccer Coach, Rob Rodriguez, has announced the commitment of Elizabeth Cormier, a goalkeepr from Lewiston High School.

According to Rodriguez, "This is a major building block in the rebuilding of our women's soccer program.  We build our teams from the front to the back, so bringing in a high quality, experienced goalkeeper such as Elizabeth is a big step forward for us.  She has the size, range, and vocal ability to keep us competitive even against the strong opponents.  Elizabeth will be a very good mentor for our other goalkeepers as well, so we are looking forward to putting in the role of teaching by example and setting the standards for our keepers."

Cormier in her decision to attend CM, "I chose CM because of all the help they provided me along the way.  My father attended CM, and he has nothing but great things to tell me about the school and the commitment of the faculty and staff.  As a child, I was 2 or 3 years old sitting on the sidelines holding up a poster that said 'GO Daddy!' watching my father play soccer for CM.  Thinking now that I will be playing the game I love on the same field that he played on is really exciting for me."
