Women's Soccer adds to recruiting class

Auburn, ME - The Central Maine Mustangs are pleased to announce the commitment of Mount Blue High School forward/midfielder, Bradie Reynolds. Bradie was the 2015 and 2017 Mount Blue Offensive Player of the Year and this past season in was named Most Improved.

Mount Blue High School coach Fred Conlogue commented, "Bradie is a quick, creative player who started most of the season up top as a forward but can also play as an outside midfielder. This season she developed her timing for runs and really helped our team move the ball down the field. She can make the runs to get to the through balls. She is a great kid who works hard and I've enjoyed coaching her."

Mustangs Head Coach Rob Rodriguez was impressed with Bradie when she visited campus. "Most of the time when a potential player makes their first visit to a campus they can be a little intimidated and they do not say very much. When Bradie visited, she very quickly connected to another recruit who was there to look at the same academic program. She is a very personable young woman who fit in immediately and she has a presence and confidence about her that we really like. Her ability as a forward and mid will add a lot to the type of high energy, high pressure offense that we are looking to run next year."

Reynolds has been a high honors student since her freshman year of high school, is a National Honor Society member, and has been an officer in the JMG (Jobs For Maine Graduates) program at Mount Blue High School since 2016. She was also named Student of the Year for 2018 in Pre-Engineering at Foster Tech Vocational School in Farmington.

Reynolds stated, "CM is a school close to home where I can play soccer and be in an awesome program.   I loved how the campus was small but spread out at the same time. I know I will get a lot more experience and stronger as an athlete and I am sure all the time on the road will teach me more time management. I am looking forward to being involved in a new family. I feel I can bring a ton of energy to the team and I will play my heart out and give it everything I have."

Reynolds will be studying in the Architecture & Civil Engineering program.
