Norfolk, VA - Junior standout, Samantha Belardo, was chosen as the USCAA Division II Women's Soccer National Player of the Week for her performance last week. Belardo conencted for 4 goals against Unity College in a 4-0 shutout win for the Lady Mustangs. In 9 games, Belardo has recorded 8 goals and an assist.
The Lady Mustangs take on Southern Maine Connunity College (SMCC) today at 3:30pm in their regular season finale. They will be back in action on Sunday, when they host Vermont Tech in the first round of the Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) conference tournament. This is the first home playoff game in the history of the women's soccer program. Kick-off is scheduled for 1:00pm.
