Mustangs handle Knights in three sets

Haverhill, MA - The Mustangs traveled down to play the Knights of Northern Essex Community College last night and were able to walk away with the sweep (25-13, 25-18,25-22).

The match was a roller coaster, full of highs and lows. The Mustangs looked fantastic at times, but struggled to maintain that level of play and sunk to playing subpar.  Despite the fact that the Mustangs were down a key player, they were able pick up their level of play when they needed to and found a way to win all three sets.

After the game Coach Chapman said, "We didn't play our best but I am happy found a way to walk away with the win.  We lost a key player due to an injury this week, but I was impressed with their resiliency and adaptability.  Thankfully we have another two games this weekend to work on some specific things and get better."

The Mustangs are back on the road on this Saturday, taking on Massasoit and Word of Life at 12pm and 1:45pm at NHTI.
