Concord, NH - The lady mustangs travelled to NHTI for neutral matches against Massasoit and Word of Life.
The Mustangs began their sweep with a 3-0 win against Massasoit with each set having its ups and downs for rallies on both sides. Strong serving from the Mustangs became the decisive strength to overcome the errors.
The following match against Word of Life began to show the true potential CM has as an organization despite missing a few key players. While Word of Life was able to establish greater defensive feats in the second and third sets, the Mustangs were still able to hold on with their second 3-0 sweep of the day.
Coach Chapman had this to say about the doubleheader, "Today was a good day for us as a program. Everyone was able to contribute and get some meaningful playing time. Our focus today was to minimize our errors, and I feel we did a good job doing that for the most part. We still have a lot of room for improvement, but it was a step in the right direction."
The Mustangs are on the road again this weekend taking on Great Bay Community College and Paul Smith on Saturday.
