Before the scheduled contests, NHTI athletics is holding a ceremony dedicating its new basketball court to legendary Coach and Athletic Director, Paul Hogan.
Prior to his retirement in 2022, Coach Hogan spent most of his 43-year career in athletics working with NHTI. He served as the Lynx Men’s Basketball Head Coach and Athletic Director from 1999-2022. Additionally, Hogan is the only coach in Lynx history to surpass 500 wins (513). In Honor of Coach Hogan’s dedication to the Lynx, NHTI will be renaming the court to the Paul Hogan Court at 12:00-12:30 p.m. Saturday.
Following the ceremony Lynx fans and family will be treated to some of the finest basketball in the USCAA. The #9 nationally ranked NHTI Men’s Basketball team will tipoff at 1:15 p.m. against the #5 ranked Mustangs from Central Maine Community College (CMCC).
With the regular season coming to an end, these two teams are battling for the first overall seed in the upcoming Yankee Small College Conference Tournament. After the Men’s game, the NHTI and #1 nationally ranked CMCC Women’s Teams will tipoff at 3:15 p.m.…...more
