Concord, NH – Elijah Barbour put up an 8-15 shooting performance hitting for 23 points Saturday but it wasn't enough as the Mustangs fall 88-79 to NHTI in Concord.
The visitors started the game on a 7-0 run and maintained a 4-6 point lead until four minutes remaining in the first half. A 14-4 run by the Lynx provided them a four-point cushion, 38-34 at halftime.
NHTI jumped out of the gate early in the second half taking and maintaining a solid 6-10 point lead the remainder of the game. The home teams' length, size, and ability to knock down shots in key moments were too much for CM.
Josh Chery had another monster game hitting for 19 points, and taking down seven rebound.
CM has now lost two in a row and host rival SMCC Monday in the season's final game.
