Concord, NH - This year's Yankee Small College Conference Elite-8 Tournament will be held on the campus of NHTI in Concord, NH.  Men's Basketball enters the tournament with an overall record of 18-5 and a YSCC record of 12-4.  They have earned the #2 seed in the Elite-8 Tournament.  The Mustangs enter the tournament coming off a 79-68 victory over Southern Maine Community College on Monday night.

The men's tournament kicks off Friday with the following games:
2:00pm  #2 Central Maine vs. #7 UMaine-Augusta
4:00pm  #4 Southern Maine CC vs. #5 UMaine-Machias
6:00pm  #1 NHTI vs. #8 Paul Smith's College
8:00pm  #3 Vermont Tech vs. #6 Unity College

A win on Friday would mean a 6pm game on Saturday against the winner of the #3 Vermont Tech /#6 Unity College game.

The All-Conference Awards Presentation will take place Friday at noon, on the campus of NHTI.

Coach Gonyea's comments, " As we enter the post season, we explained to our squad at practice last night, nobody cares what we did all season, what successes, what failures, all that matters now is what we do today.  All teams are 0-0 entering the tournament.  We need to bring our best game because, as we all know, it's one and done.  We have worked the past five months for this opportunity and prepared for this moment."
