Auburn, ME - Head Men's Basketball Coach, Dave Gonyea, is pleased to announce Elgin Physic of Lewiston has been added to the men's basketball coachings staff for the upcoming 2019-20 basketball season.

Orginally from the Boston-area, Physic has an detailed resume of coaching and mentoring young men in the local area. He has worked with Coach Mike Adams at Edward Little High School the past few years and donated much of his time to youth develoment in the area with local kids via AAU, clinics and camps. His AAU teams have always been competitve, winning programs, with a focus on local kids.  

Edward Little coach Mike Adams responds, "I am thrilled for Elgin and the CM men's basketball program. His dedication to our program and the youth of Auburn/Lewiston cannot be measured. He was instrumental to the succes of our program at EL and will be missed. Not only did he make our young men better basketball players, he made them better people."

Coach Gonyea says, "Coach Physic brings an experience and work ethic with him that will really be good for our guys. He has worked with one of the best in Maine with Coach Adams and is a champion of local kids providing opportunities for them to play the game they love. He will fit in nicely with our present system."

In his day life, Physic is a Maine State Trooper.
