Theriault named Softball captain

Auburn, ME – Mustangs Softball Head Coach, Bruce Robertson, is proud to announce Megan Theriault (Lewiston, Maine), has been named Captain for the 2019-20 season. Theriualt who carried the load for the Mustangs her freshman season and started every game in the circle. Megan pitched over 50 innings this season for the Mustangs collecting 31 strikeouts, and averaging 4.41 strikeouts per game. Theriault also served as the Mustangs #3 batter, hitting .324 – recording 11 hits in 12 games.

According to Coach Robertson, "Megan had not only stepped up this past season on the field but she has stepped up in the weight room and off season by being a mentor and leader to the incoming freshman. I am excited to see what the upcoming season will offer our team. With the fall season coming up we are in rebuilding mode with all first-year players except Theriualt who will be entering her Sophomore season while leading the way for the Mustangs as Captain."
