Machias, ME

Eleven Lady Mustangs found the scoring column in a 98-52 blowout over the Lady Clippers of UMaine-Machias.  CM jumped out to an early double digit lead behind their pressure defense and never looked back.

Susie French (Portsmouth, NH) led the way with 22 points, 10 rebounds, 7 steals, 5 assists and 5 blocks.  Jasmine Ramos (Kissimmee, FL) recorded her first career double-double with 13 points, 11 rebounds, and 7 steals.  The third Mustang to record a double-double in the game was Laura Soohey (Bremen, ME) who tallied 16 points, 10 rebounds, 5 steals, and 4 blocks.

Shaila Cole (Providence, RI) recorded 13 points off the bench, and Maggie McConkey played a great floor game, finishing with 9 points, 7 assists, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals.  Emma LeGallais led UMM with a game-high 23 points.

With the win CM improves to 10-1 overall and 6-0 in the Yankee Conference.  The Lady Mustangs will be back in action tomorrow afternoon when they host Hampshire College at 1:00pm.
