Auburn, ME - Four Lady Mustangs from the 2017-18 squad will be continuing their basketball careers this fall. Ellie Harrington, Rylee Moore, Jane Lester, and All-American, Kristina Blais, have officially committed to schools and will be transferring.

Harrington and Moore will both be attending Northern Vermont University Lyndon (formerally Lyndon State College). NVU is an NCAA DIII member which plays in the North Atlantic Conference (NAC). Last year the Hornets finished 14-12 overall and 10-8 in the conference. Lester will be attending Breneau University in Gainsville, GA on an athletic scholarship. The Tigers are members of the NAIA and play in the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC). Breneau finished the 2017-18 season with a 20-10 overall record and a 14-8 conference record.

Blais will be staying local and attending the University of Southern Maine in Gorham. USM is an NCAA DIII member which plays in the Little East Conference (LEC). The Huskies finished last season with 14-13 record overall and a 9-5 conference record.

In their two years playing for CM, this quartert went 63-3 overall, a perfect 30-0 in the Yankee Conference, won two YSCC Regular Season Championships, two YSCC Tournament Championships, made the USCAA National Tournament twice, won the 2017 USCAA National Championship, and finished as the 2018 USCAA National Runner-Up.

Head Women's Basketball Coach, Andrew Morong, on the commitments, "We are absolutely thrilled that these four young ladies have committed to continue their academic and basketball careers and have guaranteed roster spots. All four of these young women are hard workers who can get the job done on the court and in the classroom. Each will bring a plethora of experience to their new programs having each played in roughly sixty six games, including eleven post season games. They know what it takes to be successful individually and as part of a team at the collegiate level, and I expect each of their new coaches to lean on them heavily."
