Women's Basketball back no track after rout of Unity

Auburn, ME - Five Lady Mustangs scored in double figures, while the defense forced 49 turnovers, in a 92-22 rout of Unity College on Thursday night.

Leading the way once again for CM was freshman, Makenzie Beaudry (Dover Foxcroft, ME) who had a monster game. In her first career start, she recorded 27 points, 15 rebounds, and 8 steals for her 3rd double-double in 5 games. In just 14-minutes, Natalie Thurber (Wells, ME) hit five 3's on her way to 21 points. First year players, Shemilia Johnson (Newport News, VA) and Tatianna Saint-Louis (Riviera Beach, FL) netted 12 points each, while Chandler True (Naples, ME) scored 10.

Beka Davila (El Paso, Tx) dished out a game-high 8 assists for the Mustangs.

With the win CM improves to 4-1 overall and 2-1 in the YSCC. They will be back in action Saturday, when they host the Clippers of UMaine Machias (3:00pm).
