Albany, NY - Coming off an emotional win on Wednesday, CM boarded the bus for a 5-hour trip to Albany, NY to take on Bryant & Stratton. With holiday break looming, it was a perfect storm forming for a trap game. After a 9-6 first quarter, it certainly looked like the Mustangs were headed for one. Although the Mustangs led 34-21 at the half, it was not settling right.

Then... the third quarter happened. CM scored 42 points in the third to blow the game wide open. Leading the way once again was first-year standout, Eliza Brault (Ossipee, NH). Despite uncharacteristicly struggling from the foul line (5-15), Brault still netted 22 points on 7 of 10 shooting in just 15 minutes. Kristen Huntress (Harrison, ME) hit 4 triples to finish with 12 points to help pace the Mustangs.

All 16 players saw the floor, with 14 finding the scoring column. CM forced 45 turnovers and out-rebounded the bigger Bobcats by +9, which included 26 offensive rebounds.

Lauren Feldman led the Bobcats with a double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds.

With the win the Mustangs improve to 13-1 overall, and now have won 11 straight games. They will be back in action tomorrow at 12:30p when they take on the Knights of CCRI in Warwick, RI. This will be the final game of the first semester for the Mustangs.
