Men's & Women's USCAA All-American Announced

Norfolk, VA - Last week the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) announced its men's and women's soccer All-Americans and Academic All-Americans.

From the men's soccer team, Alexander Thompson (Auburn, ME) received Honorable Mentional All-American accolades. Thompson, who played defense for the Mustangs was a critical compenent of the team this year that made the Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) Championship Game.

Julian Clements (Greene, ME) was recognized by the USCAA as an Academic All-American for receiving a 3.5 cummlative GPA or higher.

The women's soccer team also had two players recognized. First year defensive standout, Jade Sturtevant (Litchfield, ME) was named an Honorable Mentional All-American. Sturtevant started all 16 games for the Mustangs who made the YSCC Championship Game for the first time in program history.

Third year standout, Samantha Belardo (Russell, MA), was recognized as a 2nd Team All-American after scoring 10 goals in 13 games.
