Women's Volleyball Coach Named

Auburn, ME – The Central Maine Athletic Department is pleased to announce the hiring of Scott Berube of Auburn as the new women's volleyball coach. Berube, a two-sport athlete at Plymouth State University, was a three-time conference champion in football and two-time regional champion on the alpine ski team. He is certified in sports nutrition, conditioning, psychology and Sports Done Right. He has coached hundreds of athletes and has a reputation of being a hard worker. 

According to CM athletic director Dave Gonyea, "Scott is the perfect coach to step in and take over a young program at this time. He has the patience and understanding of today's athlete to lead the program. We are delighted he is coming aboard."

Coach Berube commented, "I am excited to join the Mustang coaching staff and will provide a positive environment for the Mustangs volleyball program. My experience is skill set development will help foster a program that will yield individual and team success. Excellence is never found in the absence of hard work."
