Auburn,ME - The first every CM esports intermural tournament kicked off on Monday. This tournament featured the game Rocket League, with most of our athletic teams submitting a team for the tournament.
QUARTERFINAL RESULTS:
The first matchup showcased Baseball and Women's Basketball. Baseball was quick to put their opponent on their back heels with early goals. They swept the best-of-three series, 2-0, cruising to the semifinals.
In our second series, the Esports Rocket League team, who is favored in this tournament, took on the Men's Basketball team. Despite an overtime game, Rocket League led their team to a 2-0 series sweep, sending the Men's Basketball team packing.
Cross Country took in Softball in the 3rd quarterfinal matchup. Despite a strong push to rally thanks to some late goals and saves by Softball's Abigail Hanson, Cross Country was able to stay cool, calm, and collected on their way to a 2-0 series sweep.
The fourth and final series showcased Men's Ice Hockey going up against Women's Soccer to decide who would fill in the last sport for the semifinals. Hockey showed off some skills in the air attack game and found themselves a quick 2-0 series sweep.

Match 2: 6:00pm Cross Country vs. Men's Ice Hockey @6:00
Championship: 6:45pm Match 1 Winner vs. Match 2 Winner
