Haverhill, MA – The Mustangs traveled to Northern Essex to face the Lady Knights in doubleheader action Sunday.  CM jumped on the board 1-0 in the first inning but the Lady Knights responded with two runs of their own in the bottom of the inning.  CM couldn't get the bats going after that dropping a 9-1 decision in game one. Offensive contributors for CM included Jessica Pare (Bethel, ME), Cari Estes (Hiram, ME), Amanda Tierny (Waldoboro, ME), and Amber Pritchard (Winthrop, ME) each recorded hits in the game.  Estes took the loss despite striking out nine hitters. 

Game two would not be any kinder to the Lady Mustangs, as NECC showed off it's offensive prowess again and earn the sweep with a 10-2 victory. Jessica Pare was the lone bright spot for CM, tallying a pair of hits and scoring the team's two runs. The Lady Mustangs will head out to South Portland on April 23 for a matchup with Southern Maine Community College, before wrapping up their season with a doubleheader against the Lynx of NHTI on April 26.
