Auburn, ME - Tomorrow night, your 6-1 Lady Mustangs host the undefeated Lynx of NHTI in the nightcap of a men's-women's basketball double-header at 8:00pm.  The Mustangs defeated NHTI in 3 matchups last year, including in the Yankee Conference Tournament Championship game.  However, the Lynx enter Thursday's game 3-0 with wins over UMaine-Machias, Hampshire, and Bunker Hill CC.

Head Coach Andrew Morong on NHTI, "The Lynx return one of the best players in the Yankee conference in Riselly Deoleo.  She is a tenacious player who can create for herself, or her teammates.  They also return Melissa Martel who was one of the best 3 point shooters in the league last year, and have added freshman Michaella Biron who is averaging a YSCC-best, 25 points per game through their 3 games.  As you can tell, we will have our work cut out for us.  They are scrappy on defense and discipline on offense.  We will not be able to just show up and win, we will have to out-execute and out-work them for 40-minutes."
