CM lands Dover's Antone

Auburn, ME - Mike Antone, a senior at Dover High School (Dover, NH), has commited to attend CM in the fall, becoming Head Baseball Coach, Ryan Yates, first recruit in the 2015-16 class.  He has been a four year baseball player for the Green Wave, playing both third base and pitcher.

Antone has been very active at Dover in his high school career.  He participated and coached in the Unified Basketball league and soccer league for the last two years.  He also assisted the middle school baseball team and was the sports editor for his high school newspaper.

According to CM athletic director Dave Gonyea, "We are delighted Mike has selected CM.  He was accepted to and looking at several other colleges before making his final decision.  Though he follows his sister, Kayla's, footsteps wearing the Mustang red and black, he looks to build his own legacy at CM.  Not only will he contribute on the baseball field but he will work with the athletic department heading up the broadcast team for basketball games.  As a bonus we get his mom, Lynn, and Gram back in the fold!"

According to Antone, "I choose CM because of how small and how close the community is here.  I come from a close knit family and I felt that the school I chose had to be at the same comfort level as home.  I'm very pleased and privileged to be given this opportunity at CM."
