So. Portland, ME – CM dropped a 7-4 game on the road Tuesday at SMCC. The game was tied at four with SMCC batting in the bottom of the sixth when Junior Nuance doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring the eventual winning run.

 The  SeaWolves took the lead for good with four runs in the sixth inning. An error scored one run for SM-- Cody Bryant scored one run, followed by a Peter Stauber single on a 2-0 count, scoring one run.

 The Mustangs three runs in the fifth inning. Contributing to the big inning included Zach Mann, Jordi Valls and Dalton Wing, all driving in runs. 

 Stefan Lesco was the winning pitcher for SMCC. He came in for two innings of relief, allowing two hits and three runs while striking out two and walking zero. Alex Schepis also threw four innings out of the bullpen.

 Nick Powers took the loss for the Mustangs.. He surrendered four runs on four hits over two innings, striking out one.
