Auburn, ME - Persistence is key to completing any endeavor. The mustangs learned that last night finally putting away a stubborn UMA Moose team by a 74-65 margin. However the score is misleading. CM kept on top most of the game but UMA took the lead at the 3 minute mark by three points. Point guard Samson Olayemi and Nick Hinkley led a defensive surge in the last three minutes to take over the game and lead CM to victory. Hinckley finished the contest with 17 points including three 3 pointers and Tyler Smithgall contributed 15points and 7 boards. Jason Hughes hit for 10pointts as well. CM improves their record to 17-7. The squad entertains Unity Thursday night at 8pm.
