CM Thrashed on the Road 10-0

Bridgton, ME - The Mustangs traveled to Bridgton Maine to face Bridgton Academy Wednesday afternoon. A cold and gray afternoon saw Bridgeton establish themselves early as the better team when eleven minutes in to the match a breakaway gave the Wolverines a 1-0 lead. Seven minutes later it was a direct kick that put Bridgeton up 2-0. The game got away from the Mustangs fast and the halftime score ballooned to 7-0. The first twenty-five minutes of the second half were competitive but Bridgton Academy found the back of the net several more times in the last fifteen. The final ended up being 10-0. After the game Coach Wallace said, "Our guys were pretty exhausted out there. Our team just played their third game in four days and Bridgton is a dominant team. Our most recent matches were tough losses against the best teams in our conference so without having any time to recuperate or prepare I'm really just happy to leave today without any injuries."
