Mustangs Capture an Important Road Victory

Machias, ME - A strong second half-led by Mark McDonald broke open a tie game at halftime to lead the visiting Mustangs to an 88-67 victory over the U Maine-Machias.

CM jumped out early taking a double-digit lead in the first ten minutes of the contest.  A furious Clipper comeback late in the first half brought the game to a tie going into halftime. 

The boys sprinted out the locker room at the half and came out on fire.  Led by the defensive pressure of Malik Farley and Jair Johnson, CM went on a 20-3 run and coasted to a twenty-point win.

Five Mustangs registered in the scoring column.  McDonald led the team with 24 points, Jair Johnson added 15 points and 5 rebounds, Elijah Barbour added 12 points, Josh Chery knocked down 12 points and Rodney Theodore chipped in with 10 points.
