French's accolades are impressive, but her impact on the women's basketball program carry their own weight. According to Head Women's Basketball Coach, Andrew Morong, "Susie changed everything about our program. She changed the standard of what is acceptable, she changed the way we view and value leadership, and she changed the way we build and value relationships. Her willingness to relentlessly compete, every single day, is an incredibly rare commodity in today's world. Watching her lead, and bring everyone else up around her was something truly special. On top of it all, she had to perform at an incredibly high level, every game. We are so happy for Susie, and her entire family, and are looking forward to celebrating this moment with them this weekend."
