Women's Volleyball sweets GBCC again

Portsmouth, NH - The Mustangs went down to Portsmouth, NH to take on the Great Bay Community College Herons in a conference matchup and were able to come away with a three set sweep (25-12, 25-3, 25-7).

The Mustangs started off the night pretty slow, making a lot of errors and giving Great Bay several free points. When the Mustangs settled in, they were able to roll through the match without looking back. Gia Cooper lead the charge, racking up 14 total aces on the night.  CM's middle blockers, Kenzie Bills and Sage Cormier also had a great night as well, racking up 7 and 5 kills while hitting .500 and .670 respectively. Right side hitter Brianna Carmona also had a great night with 5 kills while hitting .440 on the match.

When asked about the match, Head Women's Volleyball Coach, Kyle Chapman, commented, "We started off a little flat, but we were able to pick things up in the second set and played cleaner volleyball from there. We have to refine some things, but overall it was a good match for us."

CM's next match is a conference match with playoff implications against Paul Smith's College this coming Monday.
