Fred Wilcox enters his first season as head coach of the Mustangs in 2025-26.

Wilcox comes to CMCC with 20 years of coaching experience across various levels. He serves as the co-director for the New England Softball Elite program and coach of the 14U national travel team, finding success in USA Softball tournaments. Wilcox previously coached the Windham High School Eagles varsity team for three seasons after two years as an assistant, and also spent four years with the Windham Middle School team. He is a co-owner of The Cages, a 12,000 square foot local sports facility in Gray, ME.

Specializing in hitting, catching, and fielding, Wilcox is committed to helping student-athletes find success both on the diamond and in the classroom.

Coach Wilcox lives in Windham, ME with his wife Natalie, and has two daughters, Chloe and Ella, who both played softball at Colby College.
