Concord, NH - Women's Soccer standouts, Megan Duval and Ali Sult, and Men's Soccer goal scoring machine, Abdullah Jashaami, have all been named to the Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) All-Conference team for their season-long performances this fall. In addition to these individual awards, the CM Men's Soccer squad also took home the Sportsmanship Award.
Jashaami finished 7th in the YSCC with 9 goals scored in just 10 games played. He scored 2 goals in 4 separate games, and also tallied the game-winner on September 17th against Vermont Tech.
Duval was 5th in the YSCC with 9 goals, and when combined with her 3 assists on the year, she finished 4th in overall points in the conference. On October 16th, Duval recorded 2 goals in a 4-0 victory of Unity College, helping the Mustangs avenge an early-season loss, while also defeating the Rams for the first time in program history. Sult was 2nd in the YSCC in save percentage, while collecting a league-high, 125 saves in 10 games. She also recorded 2 shutouts on the year.
Both Duval and Sult were key players in the best season in women's soccer history at CM. They finished with a program-best 6-5 overall record and 4-3 record in the YSCC. Within their 6 wins, the Mustangs defeated Unity and UMaine-Machias for the 1st time in program history.
