Baseball Falls to NHTI

Concord, NH - Mustangs fell 10-3 to NHTI at NHTI on Friday.  Alec Collins racked up three RBIs on one hit for Mustangs. He homered in the fourth inning.

Jared Booth got the win for NHTI. He allowed three runs over six innings. Booth struck out nine, walked one and gave up three hits.  Evan Roberts couldn't get it done on the bump for Mustangs, taking a loss. He allowed eight runs in five innings, walked one and struck out two.

NHTI never trailed after scoring three runs in the first on An RBI double by Matt Harrington, a sacrifice fly by Tyler Eaton, and an RBI single by Chris Gauss.

Three runs in the top of the fourth helped Mustangs close its deficit to 6-3. A three-run home run by Collins set off Mustangs rally. But, Booth got Brandon Cardona to to end the inning.

NHTI pushed across two runs in both the fifth inning and the Sixth. In the fifth, NHTI scored on a steal of home, plating Harrington.​
