On a beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon the visiting Dean College Bulldogs spoiled the home opener of the Central Maine Community College Mustangs running away with a 21 – 3 victory. The visitors were paced by Sam Scoba and Jesse Beatty with 3 goals apiece. Michael Donovan and Claude Dimitri each added a pair. Alex Haigis was disruptive defensively with many caused turnovers and 6 ground balls. The visiting Bulldogs also dominated the face-off circle winning 21 of 24 face offs.

The Mustangs got 2 goals from Ryan Lemelin and one from Nick Record. Alex Lyons played a solid game and had a team high 3 ground balls. Alex Theriault was busy in goal making a season high 14 saves.

Things don't get any easier for the CM squad as they travel to play powerhouse Bridgton Academy on Wednesday.
