The CMCC 2012 Men's Soccer Team opened the season at home against Unity College on Thursday afternoon.  The Mustangs established themselves as the better team and controlled the opening 10 minutes of play. At 13:35 into the first half George Clement had a strong shot from outside the penalty area that deflected off of a Unity defender and into the goal. The score remained 1-0 at halftime. Just over six minutes into the second half Kaleb Davis provided Spencer Osgood with a perfect through ball and Osgood was able to put CMCC up 2-0. Mufulo Thomas was outstanding on defense and Samuel Hobson kept a clean sheet in goal grabbing fifteen saves for the Mustangs.
