Men's Soccer shocked by NMCC

The Central Maine Community College (5-2) men's soccer team faced Northern Maine Community College for the second time this season. Both teams had opportunities in the first half but only Northern Maine found the back of the net. At 8:40 in Brandon Anthony struck a ball from a tough angle that carried over the head of Central Maine's goalkeeper Alex Pinto and off the post to give the Falcons a 1-0 edge. That score held until halftime. The Mustangs began to dominate play in the second half but Northern Maine struck again at 16:31 when Josh Allen headed a ball off a corner kick and pushed the Falcons ahead  2-0. Alex Lyons was finally able to give the Mustangs life when he collected a deflected shot from Spencer Osgood and scored at the 26:30 mark. The remainder of the game was intense but neither team could score again. Brad MacKenzie had 6 saves for Northern Maine while Alex Pinto had 4 for Central Maine.
