On Friday evening the CMCC men's soccer team played their first away game against University of Maine Augusta. The Moose struggled to field a full team but showed great character playing the match down in numbers. Darine Gnidhoue put the Mustangs on top with the first two goals of the match. His second following just 25 seconds after the first. Nick Cameron scored next after a nice pass from Owen Miller. Erik Waite found the back of the net 30 seconds after Cameron did and then Cliff Turner closed out the first half scoring when he collected a pass from Cameron. In the second half Abdiweli Said scored two goals, one coming from teammate Waite. George Clement got into the scorebook when he distributed passes and assisted both Spencer Osgood and Josh Brien. Sam Hobson and Alex Pinto both grabbed 2 saves while Eric Tiner had one. The Moose scored their lone goal when defender Dylan Tisor fouled a man in the box allowing a penalty kick goal to pass Tiner.
