Auburn, ME - On Saturday, the Mustangs hosted a tri-match with Southern Maine CC and NHTI.  

The Mustangs started off the day going up against SMCC .  They started off strong but ended up falling in four (25-12, 12-25, 21-25, 21-25). The Mustangs had a good match from the service line, led by Angelina Leonard with 8 aces. Tiara Begishe had a great match offensively, hitting .784 with 11 kills and 0 errors. 

The second match of the day against NHTI was a hard fought match.  After losing a close first set, the Mustangs stormed back to win the second set. They battled the next two sets, but ended up falling in four (20-25, 25-14, 16-25, 21-25).  Tiara Begishe's career high 20 kills lead the team offensively, and Cheyenne Cly's 6 digs helped the Mustangs capitalize on some key moments.  

The Mustangs have a busy week coming up with a rematch on Thursday against SMCC and matches against Paul Smith and Great Bay CC on Saturday.
