So. Portland, ME - The Mustangs dropped a tough game Tuesday at SMCC. Trailing by one in top of the second inning, Rolando Rodriguez laced a RBI single to left center that plated Cole Brown to tie the game at 1-1. The game stayed tied til the bottom of the fifth when SMCC hit a grand slam to open the game up. The Seawolves went to defeat the Mustangs 12-2.
Corey Armstrong had two hits including a double and an RBI to lead the Mustangs.
Hunter Warren, Rhen Trinidade and Max Dobkowski shared the pitching duties for the Mustangs.
The Mustangs are now 13-5 and head back down to SMCC for the Yankee Invitational on Saturday.
