Going undefeated in a season can be a once in a lifetime opportunity.  The Mustangs lost that opportunity yesterday in a humbling loss to Virginia University Lynchburg.  Unfortunately for Vermont Technical College they were the next team up after the first loss of the season for CM.

The Mustangs regained the first semester defensive intensity tonight and thrashed VTC by a 96-57 margin.  CM came out of the locker room as a team seeking redemption.  They held VTC to 11 points in the game's first ten minutes and went into halftime ahead 54-27.

By the time the buzzer went off in the second half all 17 of the Mustangs hit the hardwood to share the load.  Shaun Hill again led the home team with 19 points.  CM (20-1) is back at it tomorrow hosting Maine-Machias at 2pm.
