Unity, ME - This past Saturday, September 26th, the Central Maine Mustangs traveled northbound to compete in a cross country meet at Unity College. In the small competition, CM had two male and two female runners complete the 8-kilometer and 5-kilometer courses.

In the men's race, CM had two finishers in Mark Haskell and Cody Cunningham. Haskell, of Brunswick, completed the 8 km course in 35 minutes and 15 seconds. Haskell came in 6th place overall. Cunningham, of Rumford, finished in 7th place in 37 minutes and 3 seconds.

The Lady Mustangs had Kristen Carter and Lilly Linscott finish the 5km course. Carter, of Lisbon Falls, finished the race in 4th place in 24 minutes and 33 seconds. Linscott, of Auburn, ran 31 minutes and 14 seconds. She came in 6th place.

Central Maine's Cross Country team returns to action this weekend on October 3rd at NHTI.
