Mustangs Sweep Herons

Auburn, ME - In game one, Shane Sullivan carried a perfect game into the fourth inning before giving up a hit. CM went on to win 15-0. Sullivan threw five innings giving up three hits and striking out nine.

Garren Post and Stefan Lesco each had two hits including triples for the Mustangs. Kaleb Thompson added a double and three RBI. Zach Mann also had two hits and three RBI for the Mustangs. 
 
 
In game two, Garret Harvey took the mound going five innings giving up three hits and striking out 12. Rhen Trinidade pitched the final two innings as the Mustangs went on for a 6-1 victory. 
 
Jimmy Reed led the offense with three hits including a solo homerun in the bottom of the third. Evan Eldridge also had two hits for the Mustangs.
 
"Our pitching was stellar tonight in both games. It was good to see some of our pitchers get some confidence back," said head coach Ryan Palmer. "In game two, we did become lackadaisical in some areas that we need to clean up."
 
The Mustangs are back in action at home on Monday against NHTI starting at 4:00
