Cape Elizabeth, ME - The Mustangs Golf Team finished in third place at the 9-hole SMCC Invitational on Thursday with a team score of 176. The Mustangs had two players in the top 10 and Cam Knowles tied for first place with a score of 39. Brody Keefe added a 43 earning himself a spot in the top 10. Coach McKinnon said after the round, "This was a great first test of the season for our team. The Purpoodock Club is a difficult course and our players gained valuable experience. Our word for the year is 'establish' and I look forward to watching them improve throughout the season."

The Mustangs travel to The Meadows Golf Club in Litchfield on Sunday September 17^th for the UMA Invitational.
