Leeds, Maine - The Mustangs Golf Team continued their impressive season, securing a commendable second-place finish at the Central Maine Mustangs Fall Challenge with a collective score of 330. This accomplishment adds yet another second-place finish to their successful season.

Aiden Gonzalez emerged as the standout performer, becoming the first Mustang player to break 80 in an event this season with an impressive score of 79. Accompanying him, Cam Knowles recorded a solid 82, while Brody Keefe delivered another noteworthy performance with a score of 84. Hayden Christner contributed a score of 85, and Zack Mann carded a 106.

Coach McKinnon shared his thoughts after the round, expressing his delight at hosting the first Mustang home event in many years at Springbrook Golf Club. He praised the warm hospitality of the course staff and members. The event brought a sense of professionalism and excitement, as live scoring was made available, ensuring that all players were aware of their standings. Parents and coaches, whether in attendance or not, could stay updated on the event's progress.

Regarding the team's performance, Coach McKinnon noted the continuous improvement of his players as the season unfolds, particularly highlighting Aiden's dedication and hard work at the range, which paid off in this event. He commended his players for their excellent job and expressed optimism about their prospects as they head into the YSCC Championship week.
