Auburn, ME - Elizabeth "Ellie" Jasper, a forward/midfielder from Dirigo High School is committing to play at CMCC. Ellie was a three-year varsity player at Dirigo and was team captain her junior and senior years. In her junior year she was selected as an honorable mention Mountain Valley Conference All-Star and as a senior won a team award for dedication, desire, and attitude that is given to the player who works hard, plays a major role, and has an impact on the team.

Dirigo High School Girls Soccer Coach, Kevin Prevost, says of Ellie, "She was one of the hardest working and most dedicated players on the team. As captain she was trusted to keep things running smoothly in warmups and practice. Ellie is an excellent team player and enjoys the game - win or lose. She has a passion for soccer that drives her to improve".

Jasper will be studying Physical Fitness Specialist degree program and a big part of her decision to come to Central Maine Community College was the opportunity to play on our soccer team. CM's Head Women's Soccer Coach, Rob Rodriguez, on Ellie's commitment, "We're excited to have Ellie on board here because she is a highly motivated player with a lot of passion for the game.  This is exactly what we've been looking for as we build a team that can compete in the top of our conference.  We expect that Ellie will add a much needed spark to our Mustang offense."

According to Jasper, "I feel that my strengths are my quickness and ability to play under pressure.  I am willing to provide whatever the offense needs at the time, whether it is a shot, a pass, or simply bringing the ball up the field."
