The Mustangs jumped out to an early lead and never looked back beating the visiting Dalhousie Rams Saturday in the first game of the 18th annual Can-Am basketball tournament. CM's well balanced scoring attack was led by Samson Olayemi with 18 pts, Ismail Rios with 8pts, Jalen Lincoln and Dave Mincey contributed 7pts, and four players finished with 6 apiece.
Mid-way through the first period turned out to be a key point for the Mustang's. The squad's second unit utilized full court pressure to overwhelm the rams and jump off to a double digit lead.
